So in 2014, Gearbox Studio lent them their flagship franchise, Borderlands, and as a result a five-episode game was released that received good reviews thanks to its somewhat immersive story compared to the main games. For that reason, more companies like DC, Warner Bros., Marvel, and a few others, decided to lend their properties for Telltale to make fun adaptations.
